Mongolian Minister of Environment and Tourism appointed
AKIPRESS.COM – Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene has issued an ordinance on appointing B.Bat-Erdene as the Cabinet member and Minister of Environment and Tourism, Montsame reports.
In accordance with the article 39.2 of the Constitution of Mongolia, Prime Minister shall appoint and dismiss the member of the cabinet, presenting the appointee to the State Great Khural and the President. According to the article, the newly appointed minister is to take the oath of office to the parliament.
Yesterday, Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Urtnasan was dismissed as she failed to achieve results in the implementation of policy for reducing air pollution and to realise certain assignments given by the Prime Minister.
